Little Paxton: Artist’s impression released after serious sexual assault

We are investigating a serious sexual assault in a village near St Neots and have released an artist’s impression of the attacker.

The victim, a woman aged in her 20s, was attacked between 9pm and about 9.30pm on 27 August in Mill Lane, Little Paxton.

No arrests have been made but an investigation is ongoing. 

The attacker is described as being a white man with a pale complexion and very dark short hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and white trainers.

Detective Constable James Howard, the investigating officer, said: “The victim has shown considerable courage in assisting our investigation and has worked with a forensic artist to produce this image. I am asking the public to carefully look at the drawing and consider whether they recognise the person depicted.

“Even if you think the information you hold may be insignificant, I encourage you to come forward. Small details can often make a significant difference in helping us identify a suspect.

“We are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was in the area at the time, may have captured footage on CCTV, dashcam or mobile devices, or who recognises the individual shown in this drawing."

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who saw a dark Tesla in the vicinity of Mill Lane at the time.
